STOP DEREGULATION IN HAWAII
March 7, 2002 - It has come to our attention that
the Hawaii Board of
Barbering & Cosmetology is under sunset review and it has been
recommended by
the State Auditor to sunset the board.
The State Board of Cosmetology Department of Professional
Regulation has ordered a Cease and Desist for Improper Practice
for offering permanent makeup services by an esthetician/cosmetologist
in the state of Illinois. December 5, 2001
