All applicants must bring photo and case documentation of five case studies that will be used as the basis for the oral exam. Applicants may bring their own machines for the practical portion of the exam; however, instruments will be provided. The cost of the AAM exam is $250.00 for members and $350.00 for non members. The Study Guide is $40 and is highly recommended to help you pass the written portion of the exam. Examinees must present valid and current photo ID prior to being admitted for the exam. Falsification of credentials will result in immediate revocation of any exam results and expulsion from the Academy. |

AAM Board Certification Exam for Instructors
The next AAM's Approved Instructors Program and
exam date is May 1, 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Created to meet the need for quality education
in our growing Industry the AAM is proud to once again raise the
standard of excellence in education. The Program will include an
Instructors Preparatory Class and Instructors Guidebook specially
designed to assist and prepare candidate instructors to translate
their knowledge of theory and practice to their students. Candidates
must already be Fellows of the AAM and will need to pass all sections
of a comprehensive written, practical and oral exam specifically
for Instructors to affirm their competency in all aspects of Micropigmentation.
All candidates must bring their own teaching manuals
with them for board review. Special "Approved Instructor"
benefits are planned for all who pass the Board Exam. Nationally
Board Certified Micropigmentation Instructors will have achieved
the highest honor in our Industry.
